HISTORY IN THE MAKING
For several millennia the ancestors of Mohyals lived in the areas that are now in Pakistan. In 1947 they were forced to quit their home and hearth, leaving behind their belongings and lands, if they could save their lives. It was a new incarnation – a rebirth – of the Mohyal community after an excruciating experience, perhaps more painful than death. Rich or poor, everyone was shelter-less and helpless, in new inhospitable environment. Gradually and patiently, they worked hard and persevered with their genetic resilience. By the grace of God today they are an affluent community with their proverbial self-esteem – Mohyaliyat – intact and refurbished.
There must be many stories of this struggle, leading to great success. It is time these are recorded, before these are effaced from memory. Suitable entries are invited from knowledgeable persons. It should be a complete account, of reasonable length, suitable for posting here for the benefit of posterity – and not a suggestive list of suitable names.
